Marta Martinho

Woman, Nurse and Athlete. Three words that define me and that I try to balance daily.
As a woman I am a curious hard worker individual driven by challenges. I am a proud daughter of parents born in the beautiful North of Portugal and a proud sister who is my pillar in everything.
As a nurse, I am constantly searching for more efficiency and positive outcomes in every project I am involved in. I love to contribute to new projects and to challenge myself everyday.
As an athlete I love running and I’m a CrossFit athlete, I love to push myself to go even further. I am passionate about connecting people, traveling, photographing and “creative” cooking.
I hold a Master degree in Oncology Nursing. I started my career as a bedside nurse and soon specialized in the breast cancer, the area I am dedicating myself to, both professionally and academically since 2018. Currently, I am a PhD student in Biomedicine and I am focusing on the “digital nursing” area. I am committed to improving the quality of life for cancer patients through my research. I believe that my inner curiosity, my willingness to learn and my ability to work hard will take me far on this journey.
