Wioletta Szymańska

Gdansk University Hospital Clinical Partner Team Member

“I am currently a project manager at the Department of Radiology and the Department of Oncological, Transplant, and General Surgery of the Medical University of Gdańsk, working as a team member in the EU funded projects implemented at MUG. Until last year I was an administrative specialist at the Department of Oncology and Radiotherapy of the Medical University of Gdańsk (MUG) being a team member in the EU Funded project related to the MBC patients and clinical trials. I am also employed as an administrative personnl in the Breast Cancer Unit of the University Clinical Centre (UCC) in Gdańsk (Poland).

A proud graduate of Technical University of Gdańsk (Poland) and Central European University of Budapest (Hungary), I was inspired to pursue a career in oncology and the medical university after a personal decision to move back to Poland, after 10 years of living in Romania.

Prior to working at Department of Oncology at MUG, I was the operation specialist at HP Inc. based in Bucharest Romania, where I was responsible for customer and sales support within the Central & Eastern Europe. Before that I was a project manager responsible for implementation of the environmental projects at Regional Environmental Centre in Hungary and in Romania mostly financed by the EU.

I am a proud mom of two sons. In my free time, I am working for the Pink Butterfly Association (supporting breast cancer patients), doing yoga, stretching, travelling learning new languages and taking care of my family.”
